saxo 1.1 exhaust insurance help

   hi i have a 1.1 2003 saxo and i have a peco backbox .but my insurance company dont want to insure me with it on if the police stop me will thay care about it. its only a stupid backbox it seems so silly i was told by another company that it means the exhaust wont be insured but thats it help plz

   If they pick up on the exhaust, you will be charged with driving without insurance as the exhaust would theoretically void your policy

   Thats for having an improper exhaust ie too much emissions no cat etc
   Having an exhaust that isnt on the insurance policy iirc will just plain void the policy

   to be fair mate I drive around with tints exaust alloys lowered and none of it is on my insurance policy but its a risk you take if you want cheaper insurance i guess
