Important! : Front Driver's Side Brake Jammed On

  1. #1
    As the title says...

It's just grinding away just now, any idea's what this could be?
Something to do with the piston in the calliper?

I checked the FAQ & ran a few searchs but i'm drawing a blank...

After speaking to a few guy in work I'm tempted to take the wheel off & 'WD40 the fuck out of the brake' to see if that helps like they claim it will.

I don't know a grease monkey or anythin so it means if i can't do somethin myself them i'm gona need to go to Kwik Fit who always (as we all know) up the cost of a simple repair into one that cost's treble figures.

Any help at all is greatly appreciated!

are you sure its the brake and not the wheel bearing?

Dönt put wd40 any where near your disks or pads!
If it gets ö the friction material you wont have any brake force on that side!
A chap on gti6 forum had it and after lots of part changing it was an internal problem with a brake flexi hose.
