    hi guys

got a Mk2 VTR, so has the one plug wiring loom

engine i have is from a 1998 Pug 106 GTI, it has 2 plug wiring loom

what do i do here? do i need to purchase a later spec loom or is there other ways around this?

    Cheers

i was under the impression there was only a single plug ECU and a 3 plug ECU??

All i know is that a single plug VTR must go to a single plug engine and a 3 plug VTR must go to a 3 plug engine.

you can put a 3 plug engine to a single plug car but you have to re-do the whole wiring harness of the car so not worth it.

    Dont no if that helps

The pug looms are totally different anyway. I made this mistake. Best thing to do is source a mk2 loom and stick the pug loom on 106owners, it will sell if you flog it at a good price. I was told that the pug loom was the same. Not even close though. You just wont be able to use it.

    S E A R C H - I've mentioned this almost daily that a 106 gti look isn't plug and play in a Saxo

    needs a new loom
maybe a new ecu too as your saxo will br 3 plug and te o106 probably a single plug

I've just done a Vts conversion.

I used a mk2 Vts loom in a mk2 furio - it was literally plug and play
