lowering advice

    hey people deciding to lower my flatarch 60 all round will i have to do any arch work? as me front wheels rub a bit on full lock already!? cheers

    no just got 15's on there only 195 45 15's also would it ne grinding on the rear top lip?

    Yes you will have to do some arch work if you want it 60mm down on a flat arched base model.

    It is the underside of the rear arches just under the plastic rub strip which are most commonly at fault.

    Who are you getting to lower the car for you?

    Myself and a few others here in Nuneaton do lowering for people and have done the arch work on a few cars aswel to ensure that the rubbing doesnt happen.

    Its a CV10 postcode, let me know if you're interested as were not too far from Derby

    willsy im wanting my vtr lowered 60 mm but im finding it hard getting 60 mm springs surley i can get 60 mm springs for less that £50 ??

    r11vtr the Spax 60mm springs are very good and are a reasonable price

    Theyre just over £50 here but you may be able to find them slightly cheaper elsewhere if you look about. These are certainly the ones id recommend anyway

    was lookin on that site and was looking at 1.1 lowering kits an how come they come with 4 springs???

    Itll just be a standard picture that theyre using. You'll only get 2 springs as of course there are no springs on the rear
