#2I think it might work and would be a cheaper option than buying proper ones. Might as well try it mate if it fits, you av got nothing to lose.
-
#3get some 106 ones or u can get a kit off ebay! it will need welding more then likely tho
-
#4there were a couple of people selling the bolt on ones on here but dont think anything came of it. You can use the boot ones BUT it wont open your bonnet that high as the arms arnt as long as the 106 bonnet gas struts.
-
#5the boot struts wont be long enough and you will also have to weld mounts at the top of the suspension struts. someone off here used 106 ones. apparently the wings are more vulnerable to bend aswell if at the wrong points? dunno where i heard this from
-
#6ok if u going to do it its best to get them off a 106 and get the proper bonnet ones as thats what they are made for the boot ones are for a boot lol, u dont fit them to the wings they are fitted to the top struts ill get some pics of mine as i have had it done

#7i wouldnt recommend using the boot ones, they arent as long as the bonnet ones and as a result you'll end up with half and open bonnet mate. your better off to buy the proper ones off ebay or something.. ive seen bolt on ones on ebay! cant remeber how much but shouldnt be too expensive!

#8i would still recommend get 106 ones and having them welded on tbh
