4 bar fuel pressure regulator

   mattes,
   
   I've got port polished head with full valve job angles, 4x1 manifold and 2,25" full exhaust along with Air intake colector.
   
   Do you think it is necessary the 4 bar pressure regulator in order to feed more gas?
   
   Does it really give me some extra HP?

   its a waste of time and money. seen as you did not mention if the car in qustion is a vts or a vtr im guna assume its a vts.
   
   the fuel pressure regulator (300 kpa as standard) and the injectors on a vts are good for naturally aspirated engine upto 180 BHP @ fly. hence why there is no need to alter them unless your going down the boost route.
   
   your injector pulses can be altered with the mapping process if done correctly to supply enough fuel correctly. if you put a 4 bar FPR on your car it will run like a bag of shit and possibly flood itself etc. also the higher up the rev range the ecu will sense the extra 1 bar in your fuel rail and send a signal back to the ECU telling it to knock the fuel back, hence causing your engine to run lean and probably causing you to lose power.

   ps- i dont think you need a re map with those mods unless you forgot to mention that it was cammed etc...

   will just over fuel, will cause more damage then good.

   only do it if your getting cams and re map at same time, otherwise you will just get piston wash and power decrease

   read my first post, it makes no difference. i had this discussion earlier with chip wizards and ricky-p rpm

   The car is a VTS and it is not cammed!
   
   I'm also looking for a new chip to increase my rev limiter once I've got Dastek Unichip piggyback controller to find on the rollers.
   
   Do you recomend one chip to raise my rev limiter to 7800rpm?
