   When my car going in for some accident work im thinking of getting my rims sprayed back to original silver. Now there are a many shades of silver so need som help choosing.
   
   I dont want a dark silver (unless someone persuades me different) i want a light silver. i was thinking of something with a silver flake in but iirc last time i bought some paint the guy in the shop told me you couldnt get a light silver with a silver flake, not sure how true this is though.
   
   so, any ideas?

   If you were going silver imo man Id just go for a smooth but gloss color. Something that looks tidy once clean.
   
   Flakes and metallic colors imo dont look as good when scrubbed up.

   i was thinking more the flake and met for when it was cleaned up to give them extra pow rushy, you not agree?

   Reason I say that is cause the guy that resprayed my doors did them matellic black, when you clean em up they look "bitty" rather than smooth and flowing. Lol if that makes sense.
   The other panels are basic black. No mess, no nonsense.
   
   I guess silvers more forgiving than black, but was applying that same theory? Are they being painted or powder coated? If there being painted then Id say a bright silver with a good job of the lacquer to give it that super shine.
