Single knock when pull away???

hey guys or girls can anyone help, i go to pull away, not fast quite slow, but you hear like a single knock, think most times when im pulling away and my wheels are turned, but not sure, but dont hear it again, not when cornering or anythin.

same problem as me sounds like a friendly MR_P calmed my nerves its your upper strut has seized and the coil is turning within it and its making a loud PING noise?

yeh i had a problem like this on my old vts, it started to happen about a month before i got it lowered, when it rolled out abp having had my new suspension kit fitted, the problem had gone completely and never heard it again for the entire time i owned it.

Will i make it worse driving it? i will be lowering it next month anyway, i was just hoping it wasnt anythin to do with the drive shafts or somethin to costly. cause wiped my self out buying the thing lol, cheers guys,

must be mate. owned my furio for 3 weeks now and heard it twice. thought it was something serious.... gettin my loan soon so F**K it gettin a decent setup hopefully for £250 dont wanna go balls out on it but a decent setup would be good. putting some VTS alloys on. gettin them power coated black ( Thanks triumph motorcycles ) (y)

Sounds good mate, maybe i'll get to see it one day, as you only live 10 mins away

Smoked lights all round, lowered about 40mm all round, decent sound system, full exhaust system including manifold, then pretty much nothin else, love the look of the saxo, and it looks good standard so......nothin else.

I had a knock like this turned out to be worn ARB bushes, check them out easy and cheap to replace.

Mine has this knocking. Spent ages trying to find it and gave up. Car was in for MOT last week and only failed on back brakes.

So it can't be serious on mine. Would check it out though as it could be serious on yours. I even checked my wheel was tight

Had teh same on my old 106xs passed 2 MOT's so assumed it wanst anything too dangerous

get a leaver under ur gearbox/engine mountings and check for play tats where my single knock was comeing from a worn mounting
