What type of induction?

Have had a look at a few systems, which would have the best gains for standard saxo?

    Upgrade panel filter?
    Pipercross?
    BMC CDA?
    BMC DIA?
    Simota/Raceland?

    Any opinions would be great.

ive heard the bmc are good but ive got a raceland and cant fault it

Either upgraded panel filter or Simota mate

    Open pipercross for noise though

Upgrated panel filter in the standard airbox is one of the best mate. Especially for the price. The standard induction system is fairly good and not too restrictive so you dont see many gains from your usual aftermarket induction kits.

Standard airbox with a K&N panel filter and some cold air hosing in place of the intestine/resonator bs. Job done!

    On a VTS like.

raceland or bmc cda (enclosed induction kits) are the best around

bmc cda or standard airbox with upgraded panel

bmc i felt no gains or anything from thinking of going to a raceland see if i can tell any difference

TBH i felt that the carbon box the racland has is the worst fit ever. im currently runnign standard induction and it feels fine, but i will be upgrading to just a green filter at the front of the bay with a cold airfeed, for a bit of noise, with a heatwrapped manifold you wont experience much heat soak like this.

Iv heard alot about how the best gains are from just upgrading the panel filter and losing the resonater chamber, apparantly it can be as, if not more, affective than a BMC CDA
I think some power runs should be done to test (on the same engine )

what is the reonator chamber? the black piping that goes into the airbox? If so what benefits would you get from replacing that? If none then is it possible to drill another hole in the box and add a seperate cold air feed?
