updated knocking noise?

   ok so i investigated further, and found it to be on drivers side, and its when you turn the steering wheel, just like one turn, you hear a single knock, then when turning back, does this help to give me any idea's?

   I had a similar problem and it was the big nut which goes over the top of the damper and top mount. Ask a garage to tighten them both with a windy hammer - should only take a few seconds.
