Show Cage

  1. #1
Right, near sure that I'm buying a show cage off my mate on Wednesday.

It was only bought 3 weeks ago and he says it was £125 new. So what do you think would be a good price for it?

Also just wondering how hard would it be to spray with rattle cans? Would I need to sand it down, and what primer do I need. Im hopefully going with Peugeot Cherry Red on the colour, the same as my chevrons, tow hook and wheel nuts! And then i'll be looking for VTS wheels and spraying them red too!

And how hard are they to fit?

Cheers in advance for any help.

Oh i know, but then theres postage, and the fella im buying off is quite local, so collection is no problem. Do you have any idea as to what I should give for it? He's asking for £100 which I thought was a bit steep. Opinions?!

whats the point in a 'show' cage. If you want to comprimise space at least maximise saftey with a full cage!

I dont want to take out the back seats, still want to be able to have people in the back, but dont whether they are comfy or not!

And as the name says, its for show, the aesthetics, the looks. Im plannin on spraying it red so it tie on with the other red parts on the car, duhhh.
