hi folks, just wondering if any1 has had a group N superchip fitted to a vts saxo!? been offerd one here and want to check it out before i buy.
any help greatly appreciated.

was thinking that, the fella claims the rev limiter wil be 7,800rpm and a gain of 14-20bhp......
bit suspect if u ask me... lol

Does not sound right to me. Even if it is right there would be no point fitting it unless you have a full PSA sport Group N rally spec engine and box.

Group N chips do exist but personally id stay clear
Read about them in PFC and they were saying that the chip makes the engine work to its best parameters in the eyes of pug/cit.

yeah i thot it was 2 good to be true! knowing my luck id put it in and get a row of pistons up through the bonnet! lol

Group N cars though used a specific cam profile, which is why the cup cars also had the ECU wich was sealed and not to be adjusted.

If i paid £90 plus fitting i'd tell everyone it rocked so as not to look like a dickhead

on a serious note have a look at my cam timing thread in this section, it will give you an understanding of what cheap/ bad maps can do to your car
