#3mate just go to halfords and ask them for the silver aluminum pipeing wich will be in the air filter section job done
-
#4Depends what kind of filter you are using mate?
-
#5this is my air filter i just want a piping goin from my grill to the air filter but not like connecting into the air filter just to the side of it
-
#7Tbh mate you can use anything, just type cold air feed in ebay and choose one, only reason there are different sizes are for forced air induction kits and if people need to get them in certain places, so the one that Matty-VTR showed you will be fine!
-
#8what do i do to it? just cable tie it?
-
#9
-
#10That will do you fine mate, aslong as 1m is long enough for where you want to take the feed from
-
#11ill watch it on ebay and ill measure 2moz after work lol

do i just cable tie to bottom of grill then onto where?? -
#12tbh mate you prob wont have to cable tie that one anywhere as they dont move too much but there will probley be somewhere to cable tie it to its worth doing it, where abouts is it collecting air from mate?
-
#13Dont get that silver stuff from halfords it crap!
Find ur local pirtek and get a length of air duct hose much better job -
#14but im gettin off of ebay not halfords look at that link i dont care what it looks like just if it does the job and i just wanna no where fit it at the top cus i no i gotta fit to my grill
-
#15tbh i dont know how much difference it will make i had one on mine going from the fog light hole. in the end i took it out and felt no difference at all
-
#16well i just goin to have it in my bumper grill and do it that way
-
#17I would also like some pics of what people have done with cold air feeds.
-
#18same i want pics lol
-
#19this is mine its a pipercross one sprayed mango to match my car
-
#21for the moment i have a k an n just strait on to the throtel body and i have left the orignal air filter pipe on to get the cold air into the filter, you are best getting an enclosed induction kit if you want to feel realy differences, from what i have learned the ones which are not enclosed just suck hot air in and loose performence especialy as the air gets hoter, there was a thread a few days ago about it and this lad lost 20 bhp overall becasue his filter was sucking in hot air.
but that should be fine the one you posted from ebay.
also the one from halfords i agree it is a pile of crap and is way to expensive lol -
#22i put one and i found it made it sound better
