Bonnet ideas..

   I wanna do something with my bonnet, the paint is just falling off atm as it must have had a shit respray on the bonnet in the past.
   Im selling the car in like september time but in the meantime im gonna drop it 40mm on springs and make it look a little unique, ie bonnet.
   
   Im liking the rat look rusting the bonnet and also what that guy with 106 did with the graffiti bonnet.
   Anyone got any ideas?
   
   The bumper also has a crack in it and will have to get a new one, my dad could plastic weld the fogs lights over.
   
   Only thing putting me off touching my car and spending money on some springs is the fact il be selling later this year and its on 112K mileage and its had no problems but knowing me it would if I start messing around with it.

   Personally I really hate the rusty Rat look.. but the graffiti would be good. If the car is running fine then I dont really see any problem with working on the bodywork.. But it might be an idea to keep some money aside just incase you get a problem.. or just try and keep everything in good working order etc.

   Yea love the graff idea, my mate is proper good at it as well.
   I only meant problems from lowering it now on standard shocks with uprated springs..

   yea defo get the bonnet done.. as for lowering on springs i just commented on this issue in another topic but iv been on springs for over a year had 2 standard struts replaced due to ware in them, probs cos of the springs.. for long term use i would recommend replacing the struts, if your not planning on keeping it long then just put it on springs.

   Im really liking this idea but not with the mushrooms, i was thinking maybe the shocker sticker sprayed over a stencil in red or something on a matt black or matt anthracite colour.
   What's people's views? Mines a black VTR.

   youl have to do somthing that appeals to other people because if its your liking only then you might struggle selling it

   Well id get it resprayed again before selling mate.

   In your opinion. But im not having the bonnet resprayed til June/July time so may as well have some fun with it seeing as the paints falling off and can see rust starting.
