just a quick question

    when painting brakes and rocker cover can you just use good old halfords rattle cans? or is it hammertite or some kind of heat proof paint?

    You need the hamerite pref. the high temp paint.

    I used hammerite on the calipers but normal halfords rattle cans on the rocker cover. Standing up to the heat fine, no bubbles or problems

    you can get hammerite rattle cans from halfords i used them

    will just normal halfords paint be ok for the rocker then? as said above one guy seems fine but any other opinions?

    if you do use halfords cans, make sure u use a couple coats of laquer and leave to dry and cure for atleast a couple of days

    ok fair enough. well car will prob be off the road for at least a day when i get round to trying to do my torsion bar so that shouldnt be a probliem
