The update should make the use of this system much clearer, as the point allocations, etc are logged within the Experience section itself.
I am aware there is some uncertainty about the 'usefulness' of this system, but if you're not interested, dont click the links
Over the coming weeks, some additional point scoring sections will be added to attempt to tease you into making more use of the community tools on offer to you
