about to go do my rocker cover and was just reading the paint tins.. and the high temp says it dosnt need a primer needs bare metal .. but what about the lacquer? i have a tin of normal stuff // would i need a high temp lacquer or do i not use one of them either ? cheers

#2If the high temp paint is gloss you dont need laquer, if it dries matt but you want it to be glossy then you need to laquer. i didnt even think you would need a high temp paint for a rocker cover. How hot do the covers get?

#3doin the manifold shroud aswell so decided to use the same stuff tbh .. dont want 2 different tones in the bay
so would i need a high temp lacquer?

#4Well to be on the safe side you could yes but it depends if the high temp paint you have dries gloss anyway.
