   i want to start modding my engine. i am thinking bout getting head work done to the car. i want to get the head polished ported skimmed and gasflowed. will this give me much more power with no other mods? its a 2000 vtr by the way.

   did you replace the filter and ECU?
   put on both manifolds, intake and exhaust, and put a larger diameter exhaust all the way
   that should give it enough air, and take exhaust gas out more efficiently
   
   if you did that, go for the mods you said

   defo do other mods first. Dont waste time and money on those things, until last reallt.. then do a remap of your ECU after all that.
