MK1 rear lights on a MK2?

   Stupid noob question time...
   Iv got a silver mk2 vtr, and was wondering whether mk1 rear lights fit on a mk2?? I have searched, but couldn't find anything relevant
   Im sure i could pick up a pair of lights for the cost of a spray can so i dont have to tint my mk2 ones

   All saxo rear lights are the same fitment
