Is this mount worth bothering with?

Will be getting these 100%, is the fork one worth the extra dollah?

That engine mounting kit wouldn't fit a Saxo - it doesn't have the hydraulic upper engine mount.

I don't know about the bush, suppose it would be better but might be worth ugradingvthe other engine mounts first.

Saxo group n engine mounts are about £200

Damn, not good, want to uprate these whilst the engines going in. Where should I be going mate, Peugeot or Citroen Sport? Cheers for the help

I don't think they make them anymore - gmc Motorsport is the best place to get them from.

They are group a - the only difference is the metal lower bush, it only has a small amount if rubber in it.

Was a great mod. when I fitted mine, the engine just doesn't move at all!! Definatelty recommended, if you can handle the odd rattle.

Whereas the group n have a harder rubber lower mount - not metal

aron is selling his pugsport group a mounts for 180 quid

still in the pugsport box unused (link) http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=215436

and that lower munt if you remove too much flex you just stress the shell

the group a kit comes with an uprated harder rubber bush for there which is sufficient imo

the mounts dont change by year. I think theyre onabout 106's there, as they have same chassis etc. ive seen saxo's referred as mk1 n mk2 for things that fit both. So i guess they mean s1 106 and s2 106.
  11. #11
yea the s1 106 run a different setup
the saxo (both 1&2) run the same as the s2
  12. #12
only difference is the ECU mount on S1's aint it? something to do with hydraulic?
  13. #13
well yea man but still means the kit wont fit
the hydraulic in the group n is solid rubber anyway i think

Iv got the semi rigid group a's from spoox fitted now really happy with it.
