#4if you buy a cam kit you will need a remap, but there are some cam kits, that you will work without.
And use the search button for port and polish TB, the gains arnt large, but the extra throttle response is nice
-
#5i just read the cam thread in the sticky section got a bit more info from dat so it will be kent T40s then with a remap should i do all outher peformance upgrades befour i get a remap or get it remaped each time i do something to my sax thanx for all ur helpQuote:if you buy a cam kit you will need a remap, but there are some cam kits, that you will work without.

#6yeah the more mods, the more difference a remap will make

Also, try not to use text talk. -
#7once everythings done and remapped what bhp will i be looking at roughtleyQuote:if you buy a cam kit you will need a remap, but there are some cam kits, that you will work without.

k&n gen 2 induction kit
pipercross 3.5 inch full stainless
4 branch manilfold (with decat)
port and polish tb
kent cams
remapped
Thats the spec i would be running? 0-60s? 0-100s? -
#9On a VTS, depending on the cam really, but i would say around 130 with just a mild cam but with a pH3 or something similar, properly setup then 140bhp may be in siteQuote:once everythings done and remapped what bhp will i be looking at roughtley

Difficult to estimate really though mate.
Also the text talk doesnt bother me, just some of the members will take the piss about it, and it is in the rules not to.
If you have any more questions, am only too happy to answer them
also, would be nice if you stuck around on here mate.

#11lol glad i could help

also have you thought about losing some weight from your car?
Strip it, take bits off, composite panels? easiest way to more speed.
Also dont forget about uprating your brakes and suspension
Get some pics of your car up mate. -
#12pics comeing soon i could lose the rear seats parcel shelf and rear panels because its only me and me girlfriend that ever get in it if i do take em out the rear torsion bars gona get anouther 5mm drop thoe .
-
#13got brembro big brakes up front drilled and grooved on green stuff
-
#15good decent suspension setup would help, have a look at the Bilstein Group N

Strut braces are also good, and removing rear seats, parcel shelf, panels, and rear carpet and spare tyre, will definetly make it faster
EDIT; the lining under the bonnet can also be removed.
If you remove all of the above then you will fel the difference
Looking forward to pics anyways. -

May seem a bit twitchy at first but you will get used to it.
lol will look up blisterin my coilovers are a bit old na anyways wwhat about a fiberglass bootlid?
-
#19text talk.
yeah fibreglass panels will make a difference, also lighter front buckets, good excuse to get harnesses aswell.
Polycarbonate windows etc, possbiilities are endless. -
#20Ive got eurostyle rims in 16s woul it be better to put the standard ones back on by the way my saxo is euro style based
-
#21go for some light weight racing alloys, OZ superturismo, ultraleggera, compomotives etc.
-
#24fibreglass is cheaper, either is good.
Type into google spoox and look at there polycarbonate windows
And a roll cage would look good
get some pics up
