centre pipe

   hi i am thinking of gettin a straight through centre pipe but i was wondering if this centre pipe on kam racing is just a centre pipe or a de-cat aswell and does a straight through make a car worse on fuel

   it lookis like its underneath its a mk2 but i heard some of the early mk2s had the cat underneath

   indeed the early ones had them underneath, if it is underneath then yeah it will decat it but if its not then just a centre pipe

    most likely that the cat is in the manifold. in which case the race centre pipe will not decat your car
    
    if the cat is in the exhaust there is a supersprint cat back pipe available as well

    i jus looked and where the middle box is just after there is another box which im guessing is the cat, so which centre pipe will i need to reple the broken middle box but not to de cat just a straight through pipe
