106 GTI rear bumper on a sax?

    anyone done this or links to people who have done it
    wondered because if i smooth my boot think of getting one of these bumppers they already have the recess in them

    ive never seen a 106 bumper on a saxo

    but i have seen a 106 number plate recess added to a saxo bumper

    guess its alot of work though

    M1TTJ on here had it done

    not a good fit
    they mount differently and youll need to cut bits and drill holes in your rear slam panel

    plus it wont match up with the vt kit properly without modification

    ure best bet is to get the 106 bumper and cut out the recess and fit it to the saxo bumper sum1 on here done it and looks not to bad imo

    i have a 106 bumper you can have for £15 has same recess as the gti,please dont go cutting up a good £80 worth of gti bumper lol it would fit rather easy ish, i bought a vt kitted 106

    I had it done but not an easy job you'll need a mk2 106 rear bumper and then get them to blend it in and hopefully look something likt this

    iv got a smoothed boot and was wondering ways of putting on my number plate on the back bumper and this is a very good idia and very tempting lol i mite have ago of it

    Is hard work but worth it in my opinion as it looks pretty factory! Also allows you to put the numberplate lights from the 106 into the bumper too

    no its a vtr mate ,
    he put 106 bumper bonnet slam and head lights on it ,

    tbh i think it would be easier to put a vt kit on a 106
