you'll need uprated shocks if you're going -60mm yes. you'll be around £200-£250 for a full kit, then you can expect to pay anything between £100-£150 to have the kit fitted and torsion bars adjusted. if the torsion bars are seized then the bill will obviously increase.

Give John2modified a message. He can supply you with the Spax PSX kit (really good) for not a bad price. Thats what I have got and recommend it to every one.

well it cost me £40 for the front springs which i lowered myself and got the rear torsion done at a garage which cost me 110 so 150 all together.
if you buy the springs yourself then you can expect to pay about 170-180 for the labour at a garage(for them to fit the springs and lower the torsion bar) but like i say if there are any ceased bots or nuts it may cost upto £20 extra but its unlikely that your bolts will be ceased. i have a 98 vtr and none of mine were ceased! what year is yours matey?

took about an hour and a half for each side and the bolts are really tight so make sure you have the right tools!
you will need an extra long bar to slide over your wrench to get the driveshaft bolt off eachside. You will need a couple of you to do the job as there are parts that will need holding while someone else gets the wrench or socket on it.
you will need to make sure u got the right sockets and also a (torte/torque)set. they have a kind of star shaped end.
also you will need some spring compressors. (they are kindof like two hooks on a long threaded bolt that when you turn the bolt they are drawn together with the thread)these usually come in sets of two. see if you know anyone with a set before you buy some though of see if theres a cheap pair on ebay or summart buddy.
all in all its pretty straight forward but best to have a haynes manual incase you get confused and also for the torque settings on the bots and the driveshaft bolt.

one thing to make sure of is that when you take the actuall hub and suspension damper off, keep the driveshaft pushed into the engine as they can slip out and you will rapidly loose gear oil.
any more questions then just fire away matey!
