speed of 1.1 and 1.4

   i have a 1.1 spi with a kn filler on it
   and i was getting
   1st 30
   2nd50
   3nd70
   4th100
   5th110
   
   i am now driving my 1.4 westcoast t reg same year as 1.1 it has no kn filler or any thing on it and though the frist 3 gear i am getting the same out of my 1.4 as i did my 1.1 is my 1.4 running right can some one help plz ?

   2nd 55
   3rd 75
   4th 100
   5th....100 lol can't budge over 100...how u get 110?

   i highly doubt you got 110 out of your 1.1, but it sounds about right mate, would flash about saying you got 110, out of a car on here you will get slaughtered by safety freaks, the 1.1s clocks might of been less accurate than your westys, also it might have a 1,1 gearbox in it always give or take a few MPH on your speedo varies from car to car and most are a few mph out

   Its about the gear ratio's not the size of the engine.
   Your car will be running fine.As its done to the gear box and you would know if that was fucked.

   110 in a 1.1 doubtful there gutless, i have one and mine doesnt get new that, with a green filter.. sont go redlineing it and your be fine, nothing wrong with the westy there not a huge power drifference to the 1.1

   i was on the m25 in my 1.1 and i got 110 i would take any one on here for a drive a prove it but i did hit 110 on the speedo

    do you not think the speed in each gear is down to the gearbox in the car,
    and the limiter of your ECU.

    tbh mate, ive had tonne ten + out of my 1.1 ... and 175 outta my 200sx and bike.
    but unfortunatly, for people who havnt reached it, wont believe you.
    
    but i tell you what, its a scary thing touching over 100 in a saxo imo! lol.
