xenon fogs..

   Hi, iv just brought 2 sets of HID's the h4 bi xenon for the headlights, along with the H1 kit for the fogs!, has anyone done this already? .. just wanted to know is it worth doing? how hard is it..

   Yes it can be done and its not that at difficult to do. But just in case you don't know I will tell you all HID conversion bulbs are illegal to use on the road. Its also against the law to use your forward facing fog lights unless visibility is so poor your unable to see another vehicle 100m away with just normal lights.    Would you care to explain why you think that is so? If you think about it the rules are very sensible. They are there to inshore everyone using the road has enough light to see with but without having to much as to adversely effect oncoming drivers. Quite rightly the police regularly pull people for abusing these laws. They have even started using the police cameras to catch people and send the fine via post. There also using then for getting people who do not use there seat belts and or driving whilst on the phone. Nifty bit of kit really.

   If you can not switch them off then there is something wrong. You should get it sorted as not only is it illegal to use them but you will also fail a properly done MOT if you can not turn them off.

    fogs do look cool and during the day i don't think they should be a problem but at night i hate it when 17yr old boys fly up youre arse with them blasting into youre rear veiw mirror

    Would like to see a pic of the fogs when they are done mate. And it would look 10 times better to the horrible standard colour. Think it will be a cool little mod pal.

    i agree i always flash at people like this and they tend to dazzle me even more ba*tard dipped beams and fogs.
