unlocking ecu

   doing an engine conversion, if you get the ecu, immobiliser and key with the engine do you still need to unlock the ecu?

   n ignition barrell etc then no u dont have to unlock it.

   kool beanz, so if i get the immobiliser, ecu, key and full lock set i will be ok?

   as above as long as you have the key and barrel all will be gravy
