#2none will fit im afriad mate! 1.6 is the biggest you can fit i think. unless of course it goes in the back
-
#3yeh thats what i was planning on puttin it in the boot........... any ideas?
cheers

#4pug 306 gti-6 engine has been done, but imo not worth all the hassle for 167bhp@fly. transplant a vts engine and 'charge it for a quick car whilst keeping the saxo's good handling.
-
#5i will look into it
cheers mate
-
#6knew sean would come up with the goods!
oh and welcome to sax-p mate nice too see another north east member here -
#7thank you mate. might see you around... well if you ever go to teeside park on a nite that is

-
#10i aint too good on m'bro only kno a few places! ill keep an eye out tho mate get some sax-p stickers on it
-
#11lol well aye im just bowt to go look thru the shop actually. catch ya later mate
-
#12if your putting it on the back dont dick about with a 2 litre
-
#13what do you meen dick about? u meen get it done professionally????
-
#14I know someone whos put a 1.8 20v T engine from a mk4 golf gti in a lupo, if that can be done, uve gotta be able to do it to a saxo!
-
#15no i mean if your going to have an engine in the back then dont waste it with just a two litre go for something that warrants that much work.
-
#16Lol really take the piss, one 20V T in the front and another in the back! OK, its been done loads of times, but thats in the dub scene, this SAXO!!!
-
#17Hey mate nice to see another north east member. Where abouts in middlesbrough you from?
-
#18pug performance do alot of the 2 litre conversions,so if you really want to do it give them a ring
-
#19or just drop in a Xzara VTS engine! 2.0 at 170bhp!
-
#20'drop it in'?!? it's more or less the same engine as the pug 306 anyway, and if it was that simple everone would be doing it.Quote:Originally Posted by peebeeor just drop in a Xzara VTS engine! 2.0 at 170bhp!

some french bloke put a pug 806 2ltr turbo lump in a saxo!!
in the front!!!
someone hosted a video of it on here a while ago!!!
graham -
#22you got a link for that?
even if you could get it in, it would handle like a bag of mouldy shite due to weight of the engine, as anyone who's ever driven a C20LET-converted nova/corsa will tell you
-
#23i dont remember seeing that video,i bet thats someting special,i need to see it
-
#24lol all these ideas and i dont know which 1 to choose

it cud b easier just to put a saxo vts engine in tho + ill get insured 4 it where am sure they wudnt insure me for a 2.0 litre + car............... unless ne1 knows a cheep insurance company that speshalizes in dun up cars?
cheers -
#25agree with the handling had a c20let out once was some scary shit putting it round corners when i was used to saxo go kart handlingQuote:Originally Posted by seanvtr81you got a link for that?

there are lads round here who have got 2ltr novas that handle but i still prefer the way my saxo goes round corners -
#26
