springs and shocks

    ive just brought a new saxo vtr it is lowered asmuch as it can go on the back but only 40 on the front it looks ok but want to change the front springs and shocks can anyone advise me ont he best set up to buy thanks

    sounds to me like you are on the understeer route into the next roundabout - top job

    sounds to me like you need to go very low just to try and level the front out.

    get coilovers

    well i had another saxo that was as low as it could go on back and i dropped it 60 on the front and it leveled out mint but i want some sort of race shocks and spring for this one

    gaz front coilovers with their matched rear dampers.

    Ebay you can get the front and rear shocks, obviously front ones are height adjustable and damping adjustable where as the rears are just damping adjustable.

    Around £420-£440 for the kit and its good stuff for that price.

    AST coilovers that kam racing do are also very good from what i hear, however you dont get the rear shocks in the package which costs around the same as the gaz ones which do come with the rear shocks so its abit of a "weighing things up" situation.

    the AST coilovers are at the premium end really... they are a high spec and really perform and the price reflects that

    Any idea if they make rear ones for the saxo at all? To sort of complete the kit.

    you don't get coilovers for the rear.. thats a specialist conversion.

    they do shocks for the rear but they cost more than the Bilstein Group Ns ..
