as you may have read in http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=222207

some little twats vandalised my car

anyway, im guessing as the paints cracked and one dent cant be got at to be knocked out itll need filler

so, obv ill find out on tues if anyone wll do it cheap.. but what will the paint be like? will it need the whole bonnet respraying? or just over the dents?

A whole bonnet respray and it would cost ££££ i'm guessing. Time someone's filled it, danded it, primed it etc its a fair few hours.

Like i said. Local scrappie or try ebay where i got mine for only £25 posted.

A whole tail gate respray costed £700 (I never paid for it)

it'll cost me less than £100, i can pretty much gaurentee that..

cheers curran too, ill see what the body shop guy i know says on tues, im guessing the bonnet will need a complete respray as its metalic silver (so pretty hard to touch up)

either way i know this guy will do a good job, it may just be easier if i can find a new bonnet

will the paint look out of place? in comparison to the 7 year old paint on rest of car? keep in mind that my paint is in very good condition

There is no reason why a decent paint supplier won't give him an excellent match mate. I've had a few panels on my silver sax resprayed and you can't even tell.
