Bonnet bra or not

   I have a silver vtr mk2, had the rear windows tinted Saturday, and have dark halo headlights as I'm going with the silver black theme, I'm debating on getting a bonnet bra but will it look stupid? Thanks

   I'm not really that keen on bonnet bra's, and i've heard they dont really help protect the paintwork because they protect it form one thing but harm it with another.
   
   Apparently the adhesive they use attacks the paint or something, grit and water can probably work its way under there too leading to scrathes and rust.

   dont do it they fuck up youre bonnet and look stupid especaily on mk2's imo

   I didn't realize they scratch the car, I just want something to liven things up at the front of the car as I've got the rear looking as I want it too. Any ideas?

   smoked fogs and headlights , the bras do more damage then good tbh.

    did more harm than good to my mk2 bonnet. Covered it in scratches. wasnt happy.

    No point in either, both cause more damage to the bonnet with scratches and even when done up correctly and tight they are shite and flap about all over the place at motorway speeds.

    Mines been fine tbh. As long as you clean the car regularly, and remember to take the bra off and clean that at the same time there shouldn't be a problem

    Get one if you want one, im having a respray early next year and im getting one for day to day use to protect it from chips. Will be off for shows though. But i do have a mk1 so they look a bit better
