Magnex Backbox

   Hi, im just a bit confused because i bought a magnex backbox off ebay with the understandin it would fit my mk2 vtr but taken it 2 an exhaust place and it seems the pipe out the back of the backbox is too big to fit on the centre pipe. Anyone else had this problem and how did you get round it??? cheers

   I got another smaller peice of pipe about 3 inches long to connect the backbox to the centre pipe and fits nice and snug now

   ye someone did mention that actually! Where you get the pipe from to connect it? just wanna get my car finished now as i want it coz just had it lowered 60mm and love it!

   Just had it lying around, goto a scrappy and just look for any old bits of pipes lying around, some car spares place sell them but they didn't have the right size for me

   ive seen an adapter you can get, which attaches to the sleeve on the magnex box and that then mates to the standard saxo centre section. can i fuck find it online though! i know you can get them. if not get an old second hand back box, chop the end off and weld it to the magnex so you dont have to butcher the standard centre pipe

   is there a powerflow near you mate? I would get them to sort it

   Powerflow do the worst welding on exhaust ive ever seen.......

   You can get the adapter pipes from Abp in Nantwich.........for magnex systems.......

   No there no powerflow nr mine but ill give that one a miss if they do the worst welding going haha cheers!! Got the number for tht abp will give them a ring after work see what they say hopefully they will have this adapter. Cheers for the help lads!

    no luck with the adapter from abp might give up and sell to buy another one! Any tips on a good backbox? cnt afford the whole system atm!!!

    i had my magnex welded on, local garage did it for me. they did a good job too. but they put a smaller bit of pipe in as well, i think they took it off the end of my standard baxbox actually.

    Do you know where to find pictures? Im most probably going to be facing the same problem soon and wouldnt like to cut anything! If I could get one of these or similar it would be a great help.
    
    Tried googling but no luck? Is there a part no.?
