Yellow Lights?

  1. #1
Tempted to buy some yellow bulbs for my car, wondering what people think of them? since they are legal unlike HID's (which i have) but its more bothering me the fact about 15 people in my town have bought HID kits now :/ so its getting abit common, was thinking about been abit different.

    Thoughts?

YELLOW LIGHTS FTW! Very European. Didn't know they were legal in this country though. Where did you buy them from?
  9. #9
I got mine from ebay, they are H7 for the 306 though, not sure how easy H4 are to find for the Saxo.. and yes they are legal, because old cars came with them.. cant be legal for one and not the other
  10. #10
Well how about black and silver number plates, allowed on classics not newer cars?
  11. #11
Sounds pretty cool. Get some pictures up
  12. #12
They are restricted after a certain date for car been made, but bulbs havnt been
  13. #13
i though about this awhile ago smiith but the thing that really put me off was weather id still have good vision on the roads?

what they like compared to the HID's?

could you not just get yellow bulbs for your HID's??

  14. #14
im sure someone like AXRacing or Kam made a thread, which said yellow lighting actually gives better visibility, it doesnt reflect off rain, or fog, so you can see further, its because of the way the light particles scatter and fizzle out, the yellow can travel further than white or blue
  15. #15
Yellow is the best vision you can get! Thats why street lights used to be yellow/orange to penetrate fog etc.... I have just ordered a set, 80's comeback!

They look mint from miles off, but up close they look wank, just look really dated.

There an MOT failure and illigal.

You can have yellow lenses, but not yellow bulbs - already tried my luck!

No, get it right, you were told on pug306 a HDI is not a hot hatch, you also said a 1.4 is a hot hatch because its the chassis which makes it 'hot' not the engine, you then followed it up with saying a westcoast is a hot hatch too!

No1 said you cant have it because your car is not a hothatch.

i dunno what point im trying to make....lol but them being illegal wudnt stop him putting them on his car, considering he has an HID kit at the moment
