Hi...i know that its pos to go down 40mm on stnadard dampers, without to much of a problem straight away...but what about 60mm?? pushing it??

Anyone know a rough idea of a spring and damper kit for a vtr to put it down 60mm....pref spax?? well any thing but g-max lol thanks

going down lower on standard shocks isnt going to give you a good ride or handling. but with springs and dampers together you will get much better results.

plus its easyier to change them both at the same time rather then mess around fitting one then the other a month later.

60mm on standards tho will be shocking handling quality. although others will probaly disagree

Was down 60mm on standard shocks for about 7/8 months. When the dampers came out to swap to uprated ones, they were fine. And IMO the ride is a lot more bumpy with the stiffer dampers.

a lot of that pay be due to the springs. Certainly a decent set of shortened dampers should enhance the ride. Cheap ones won't
