Important! : Emissions problems....

    hey my saxo keeps failing on emmissions happened 3 times now....

    i'v taken all the adivice given new spark plugs, replaced the lambda sensor and put some red x in the carb to help clean it out and also given it a good thrashing!


    iv got a 1.1 saxo with a pipercross induction kit and a brand new VTR cat and back box wondering if this will make any difference?


    help much appreciated!

    I would have got the cat and backbox from a 1.1 because that could be the problem.

    does the cat fit in the same place and did it fail first with your old cat

    yeh the cat fits in the same place

    and i brought the car with no cat or back box so i dont know!

    Maybe the cat is knackered. Replacing it with a VTR one should sort it though if that is the case.

    the cat is brand new!

    still havin the same problems...
