£100 for clear coated carbon!!

   just looked to see how mych damage a carbon bonnet is gonna do to the pocket and its an extra £100 for clear coating over gel coating, exactly the same bonnet.

   still will look good so i guess gotta pay what you gotta pay

   The clear coat is harder to make and takes more time as you need to get the carbon weave to line up nicely and look right.
   The Gel coat is much faster to make as less skill is needed and thats reflected in the price.
   If you just want a nice light bonnet then gel coat is the way forward.

   ahh right much clearer. i think its gonna have to be the clear coat as it looks very nice
