Lowering by 40mm

Ok then guys i just wondered what exactly you need for lowering the good old sax by 40mm and do you do the same height both the front and back??

Its up to you whether you do the front and back the same, i think it looks better the same but its down to preferance really. The front you can buy 40mm lowering springs but you need to get the torsion bar lowered professinally really for the rear.

    Hope that helps

Cheers sean soo is it better to run on the same height both back and front... like with the weight of the engine and such, do you get springs for front and back and then have the tortion bar lowerd ??

You only need springs for the front, the back is just the torison bar

As said above it's best to have the car the same height, do the front first and let the springs settle as they can take a few days to completely settle at the height, then get the back done to match the front

personally i think it looks better although some people prefer to go lower at the back than the front, so like i say down to personal taste really matey. The back doesnt take lowering springs its the torsion bar that has to be taken down in notches (the same each side) but thats more of a pro job, hit the search button and type in torsion bar, see what you get mate.

Thanks guys most appreciated front springs fitting first then... and down the garage for a torsion bar turn down, no rear springs involved, i honestly thought that was the case though haha

make sure they do it the proper way without 'notches/clicks' which is by removing the t bars and adjusting the trailing arm or you will get beam problems later
