whats the best air filter induction for the vts???

    tried searching threads but cant find one with advice on what is the best thing to do.

    i want performance and no flat spots/sound im not arsed if its quiet as a mouse. all i want is all out performance now looking round i was this close just now to hitting buy on kamracings site on a simota.

    now ive heard so many confusing things which is ideal and why???? be extremely gratefull if somone can clean this up once and for all now options are

    BMC CDA???
    STANDARD AIRBOX??
    STANDARD AIRBOX WITH UPRATED PANEL FILTER
    RACELAND
    SIMOTA
    ECOSSE(106GTI INDUCTION)(overpriced or any good??)

    in the most ideal situation if i care about performance and flatspots what is the most ideal? im not bothered if its quiet or extremely loud just need some sound advice off the pros as so many people tell me differently eachtime.

    this will probably help everyone out as everyone seem to have the advice that i want when im out and about.

    please please please can somone answer this its bothered me for ages. is the standard airbox rumours true that they are designed spot on.

    There is not " best " as such.

    All the ones in your post are good, but personally it has to be the panel filter,
    Or the K an N Gen2 < Came back with good results from Manic Motors

    got just an open k&n on at the minute and had them in the past and got to say they havent inspired me to buy anything from k&n they make loads of noise but i can feel flat spots bad when it gets hot. cheers though i shall have a look into one.

    The Gen2 is an exception, but the panel filter is considered one of the best

    hmm must say i was swayed towards the standard airbox to begin with but just wanted some advice does seem quite a few rate the standard box.

    need help is a standard vtr airbox the same as a standard vts box???? box is off 03 reg mk2 vtr its going on a 97 reg mk1 vts???

    depends what your after for noise an open induction and for performance a enclose induction

    i know this is on my vtr but it dose look dam good and for the money your looking to spend there you mite aswell spend a little more

    If you want performance... Don't have one but carries large risks lol..
