unlocked ECU, immobilsor etc

   Right, im putting a vts engine into my westie and got the ECU for the 16v lump unlocked, do i have to run the west coast engine and unplug the immobilisor before putting the new engine in? If i don't unplug the immobilisor will it lock my vts ECU again?
   
   Might have a problem as the west coast engine wont turnover

   You need to unplug your current immobiliser unit or black box.

   you dont need to unlock the westcoast ecu, just make sure that before you plug the 16v ecu in that you remove the imobiliser box.
