spray painting wiper arms

   Dead simple, my paints flaked off in places showing the silver metal behind, so hows best to respray them black?
   
   Do I need to sand+primer+black
   
   Any suggestions on what paints/papers etc to use?

   i just scotched them, then painted, and finally laquer
   
   check out my cool new features to the house when we did it lol

   i sanded mine down then primered a couple of times then gloss black X2 coats and laquer,
   
   i used wet/dry sandpaper and spray cans from halfords

   i did yeah, gloss black. finished product is pretty nice if i do say so myself

   do you have to use primer for metal though as supposed to plastic primer?

   i just used plastic primer as had it to hand, scotched in between each layer
