Raceland Induction Kit

    Im not sure weather to keep the cover on that comes with it, if i do take it off im not sure how to keep it straight has anyone got one without the cover pics please.

    if you take the cover off you just push the pipe into the silicone hose abit more and tighten it up, holds it in place nicely.

    Not a good picture but you get the idea.



    I prefer mine with the enclosure on, its sprayed black as i didnt like the carbon fibre effect.

    also, if you push the pipe into the silcione hose, it bend the pipe round so its not pointing straight.

    You can see in my pic its going to the right abit, just keeps it from right above the manifold.

    Could allways get some morettes and put a air feed in.

    Or for track days just another bit of silsione hose and take the head light out

    just got my raceland,, any mods you guys done to it or changed anything ?? ((apart from no cover lol))

    well ive got a KnN on mine.... most people have a green filter....
    apart from that i dont think there is much different you can do lol

    ok cool,, can you get pipercross to fit ??? is it easy to fit? i have a vtr 99, i have a pipercross on now and it has 2 pipes going to it and there is only one gap for one on the racland

    The spare pipe your left with mate will probably be for the oil breather in which case just put a breather filter on it.

    If it still works fine, then what all this heat soak crap about open filters then?

    Am unsure which looks better thoguh, am torn between the two.

    am i missing the point here, buy a proper enclosed kit, then turn it into a max power roar machine
