#2A remap mate

You already have all the breathing mods aswell i take it? -
#3+ breathing mods.
(full exhaust, decent induction, etc) -
#4id recommend you do your homework before jumping in and buying a cam.
theres alot you need to know about the pro's cons of changing them over.
pro's being quicker car ob.
cons being shit idle, loss of low down power, fuel comsumption etc. -

A remap will usually sort this out pretty well, may still be a little more lumpy than usual, but hardly noticable. -
#6may want to look into getting new followers and such
-
#7is there any were you can get a fullkit and how much to fit and how much to remap ?
-
#9fullkit?
cam 180-250
adjust. pulley 80-120
fitting at manic motors 160
headset and bolts 40-60
followers and lifters about 300. not sure about these tho.
remap 300-500
it doesent come cheap this camming lark -
#10so for over £1000 what sort of figures awe we getting ?
-
#13You have a 90bhp VTR engine or 98bhp?
I think the saxo will be a but lighter than your mates civic anyway so its a plus side
-
#15You'd probably need a new venier pulley aswell.
-
#16Catback exhaust, decat, 4-2-1 manifold, p+p tb, induction kit, PH3s, remap. And lose some weight from the car, and you will give him a very good go for his money.Quote:im getting the 98 bhp
ye my m8s civic is 160 but he weighs twice as much
Also look into suspension, brakes and tyres, they make all the difference on track
