Just wondering what milage is best to change the cambelt on a vts - my car has done 60k now and not sure if the previous owner changed it or not.

iv just done mine on 59k to be on the safe side.
hardest thing i found was locking off bottom end at tdc. -

#16Waterpump is probably only about £20 extra to do.

#17Just done a cambelt today, first time, on some Mazda 323f i think it was, took me an hour

Got there in the end, felt achieved lol -
#18My Saxo has done 104K, the cambelt was changed at 72K about 5-6 years ago. Iv got a cambelt to swap over just wondering whether its worth replacing the tensioner too?
