    yes,yes,yes.
real question is how much have you got to spend on it to make it work properly.

why would u put one of them in?

obvious choice would be a B16B

but for the cost of fitting another 1600 16v, id be putting the money into a tu engine.

There's ones out there with K20's in them, YB lumps out of Cosworths (106's, but all the same), etc.

kinda ends up more as a space frame than a saxo though.

also depends where you want to put the engine

well any engine thats ruffly 160bhp stadard, to start from there, idealy want a 1.6, thought of a honda engine as i thought i seen on youtube some1 had a honda engine in there, but i think it was in the rear, i want it in the front tho, with about 160 bhp to play with, its only an idea at the min, but money isnt much of an object at times, jsut want to know all the rough prices + stuff needed,

its not just a bolt in job for any engine thats for sure.

160bhp? why not just cam a vts engine? save lots of money and have an engine thats deisnged to fit, so no need for custom shafts/loom etc...

easy to get a vts motor to 160 though

    less effort and prolly cheaper

ok, liek i said i was just wondering, so camming a vts would be how much?
  13. #13
depends if fitting cams and if you want to go for a decent standalone ecu (allows more room for upgrades in future really) or just a remap.

£1500 budget can do it mind.

you will be lucky to get a honda engine in the car for less than 5k

most of them are ford floorpans cut up with the pug shell on top, well massive hybrids anyway
