Clunking from brake pads front

  1. #1
had the wheel off and basically the pads are moving back and forth in the caliper/carrier and seem to have a few mm of play, noticed they have no clips or anything to keep them in place.

the noise stops when i apply light braking.

any ideas what I can do to fix it? pads are brand fire new green stuff ones.

and the green stuff are shit comments start lol

tbh i dont think you could have got worse pads for the cash

and they should have a spring clip to hold them in

lol agree with price but I have 306 GTi-6 brakes and they were only £17 from a guy off here, they did come with clips but it appears they have broke away....

I cant imagine you can buy clips??? so I suppose what my query was does anyone know if I should just bin them or what...

if the clip is part of the pad (i know on 266 they are) then your foobed

but if there a seperate pin then you might be able to get a set
