shortshifter!!!

    ive a westcoast,will i bother getting a shortshifter ??
    do i have to do anything else to fit it?

    They are not hard to fit mate.

    There is a guide if you search.

    I wouldn't get the one off ebay simply because kam racing do a kit for just a few pounds more.

    take your gear knob off, get a saw / angle grinder and cut the stick down an inch or so.
    its the same princaple... mines just above the bend in the stick.

    any back pain? i find i get back ache sometimes. and no... i dont have my seat right back and i cant have my seat right forward as im 6ft and a big lad ;P

    I'm 6'2" and have a compbrake quickshift fitted and love it to be fair. Adjusted it until it was just possible to change gear The gearstick is far enough away as it is though lolz.
