wont go in gear?

   My mk2 1.1 won't go into gear properly, can just about get it into 3rd and reverse so I had to drive home in 3rd, the gear stick has gone all loose and some bar that connects it up underneath is knocking on the chassie/body, I'm pretty sure somethings come loose, can anyone help?

   most likely gear linkages have come off. personally if your using the standard citreon ones then replace them with these...

   The linkages seem to be as they should but I'm not to sure, could it be anything else?

   just check all linkages at both ends, best/cheapest place to start ;-)

   i had just problem with mine . as the static link come off ?
   
   with mine it had snapped the little ball off the gear box.

   its the pin in the rear selector on the box
   33p from peugeot/citroen
   
   mines gone atm so i need a new one

   Na it hasent snapped. And I've had a look at the linkages now, and there all ok but thanks
