Has anyone on here molested their STD seat subframes to enable them to have bucket seats fitted onto them at all?
If so how easy/hard was it to be done?

Hi, I got a cobra bucket and made my own non adjustable seat fixing, bought a piece of flat steel and some simple welding (which I am crap at!) it works well as long as you only drive it!
pics if you want?

There isnt a standard subframe as such, its part of the seat so you'd have a right job on welding and cutting. Raceland ones are cheap are fit nearly all base mounted buckets and the OMP ones sold by YB Racing on ebay are under £100 a pair if i remember.

i only paid £30 for the seats lol, i cant justify paying £100 for two peices of metal...i might fabricate some myself if i cna get me some chunky metal..and a welder...
