206 lx brakes!

   There is a 206 lx in my local scrap yard. I am thinking do the calipers fit a vtr? I was thinking about getting the calipers and carriers and getting new grooved discs and uprated pads.

   yeh theyll fit, but what size are they? are they any upgrade to standard vtr ones?
   
   Tbh you might be better off, putting fresh brake fluid in your current set up, bleed it all, fresh pads mintex 1144's are good and new discs, Maxtorq Group N Brake Disks off kam are meant to be good and cost around the same as OEM's.

   Well i have got got grooved discs and green pads allround atm!

   Grrenstuff pads are shite for road use. Try mintex pads, and drain, refill, and bleed your brake fluid

   I don't rate greenstuff at all.
   
   Either ferodo or mintex for me.

   Well they were on at time i bought car and have had them changed since but they were just the ones i could get hold off at the time they needed changing, they seem to wear the discs alot too. I needs a new disc at front on one side so am just looking at upgrading fronts too 266, 283 or 4 pots. What discs and pads would you reccomend?
