#2Theyre ok. Many poeple dont rate them at all. Ive never used then so going off what other poeple say. But try and avoid Geemax, jamex and theres another shitty make on ebay.
If you aint getting dampers aswell, then maybe just stick to spax, eibach, apex, possibly faulkners. -
#3I have 35mm g-max on at the moment as a temporary fix and to be honest they are fine.
Handles much better than standard and the ride heights just right for me.
I wouldn't want to go any lower on just springs though.
I paid £20 for mine brand new from ebay. -
#4i had g max on my saxo when i bought it, handled like a boat that was -35m on standard dampers
and £48 is alot for poomax, save for better itll be worth it in the longterm -
#5TBH mate, i would save and buy something a bit better.
Apex dampers and springs are about £200.

#6my mate had Gmax on his front, and one of his springs snapped....they had only been on for a couple of months as well and they were brand new (was a 35mm drop btw) id adives spax if you want to keep on the cheaper safer side

#7iv found some spax ones which r only abit dearer which offer 40mm drop altho i wanted 50mm,wud these b a better choice then?
-
#8avoid gmax iv got -40mm on mine on standard dampers. really dont like them doesnt fill me with confidence when driving quickly
gonna save up for the apex -50mm springs and dampers -
#9think i mght jus get the eibach from kam racing instead?
-
#10just looked at the apex springs they around the same price really confused now,wot to do?

#11a mate has a full gmax kit and cant fault it tbh. good enough for road use and comfy enough imo. obviously theres better out there and they wouldnt be high on my list
